April Fools...

Over the weekend Cameron, Nate, Karl & I skated some school yards. Karl is from the UK 1/2 German & English dude & loves to skate. It's his 1st in the USA & he's stoked.
We ate some pho & of course he's never had that before. He was bold enough to order the same dish I ordered the #6. It's pretty gnarly but I love it. It consist of tendons, tripe, stripe, raw thinly slices of beef, & rice noodle with some type of beef broth.
Karl & Nate decide to skate the world famous Mira Mesa Lucky Seafood gap. This gap was in a lot of skate video & photo's back in the day. Karl k/f it before that he actually almost got hit by a car.
After that we checked out some new & old spots in ........... Karl & I booth did a f/s lipslide to f/s 50/50 bank to curb. That was loads of fun. Cameron got in the mix & did a nose manual shove it out. Nate was cruising around busting b/s big spin pressure flips. He was just getting over the flu & didn't eat for like 48 hrs. Cameron had to got to work & count the money so then we end the session on my mini ramp. Mini ramp sessions are always blast learning new tricks & relearning old ones. Karl loved the ramp. I think he learned like 5 tricks that evening.
Finally we ended the night eating big fat burgers at Fuddruckers. Ollie, Alvin, Tony (http://www.wbz4life.com/) came along for the feast. Karl is normally a vegetarian but he couldn't resist. He's just hoping the mad cow didn't hit SD.

Nate looking for gloves in his fannypack.

Karl, N8, WS & the back of Camerons' head eating Pho.

N8 busting a G turn.

Chillin at spot. I'm messing around with some trash while Cameron & N8 discuss the

On your mark get set go!

April 2, 2006

This morning Cameron(filmer dude from PQ) & I went to Washington skate-park & it was locked. There was a bunch of empty beer cans all over the flat bottom near the big vert wall. So, it must have been a rager. With the time change going forward 1 hour. That certainly doesn't help with the gate keeper of the park. So, we decide to look for some spot in downtown. We found a spot but there was way to many cars in the parking lot. We pushed our luck again back to Wash. & it was still locked. We snapped our fingers & magically we were in the park. The session was great but I got a charlie horse on my thigh. On they way back to the shop we got some grub at Tiki Hut & ate like pigs. Now it sprinkling. I'm going to lay in the tub & take a bath with epson salt like a big fat baby.
